In Pakistan, poetry is something that is being used in many fields by all sorts of people. There have been all sorts of events to promote the literature of the country. Most functions on national level do have a part dedicated to the poets and poetry which termed as mushaira. Also, in educational institutes there is always a competition among talented student which is named as bait bazi. In bait bazi, students actually compete with each other by telling ashar of different poets.

One of the most famous forms of poetry is the poetry of Sufis; they have done an enormous job in this regard and have taken the poetry to another level. In their poetry, it’s the love of God in lieu the love of some human being. That’s the base of this kind of poetry .This form of poetry is been famous in most pat of the country as everyone can read that with the same level of respect and it supposed to be a thing to have tranquility.

Although, the importance of the literature and Urdu adab is on a fall but Poetry is the only thing that is keeping them together.
