My sister in law has been selling jewelry to some of the biggest jewelry stores in the world. She travels about eight months out of the year and makes sure that all of her clients have the latest pieces offered by all of the best designers that there are. I went with her one time when she was selling jewelry in New York. I was very impressed by the relationship that she had with her clients and the stores that she was dealing with, were top notch.

I am not sure that I could handle all the traveling that my sister in law does, especially since she just had a baby just over a month ago and is gearing up to go back to work in just about four weeks. She told me that her boss has given her the okay to take a position that would only have her traveling about four months a year and that should help with the new baby. The new position also has her selling old jewelry to second rate stores that are not in the bigger cities.

She is a little down about selling old jewelry, but having more time to spend with her daughter, is making it all a little easier to deal with.
