I used to work for a house washing Indiana Company a few years back. We washed quite a few houses every season, but the way we did it was very inefficient and not as effective as it could have been. I know this now because I work for a different company that does things much differently.

The old company I worked for has a crew of 4-5 guys, we would spray some soap on the house and all start scrubbing. It was one guy spraying and washing, two guys down low, and two of us on ladders scrubbing up high. It used to take us 5-6 hours for an average sized two story home, which isn’t very efficient for an exterior house cleaning company with that many employees.

Scrubbing was no fun either, and mostly because we would miss spots and would leave brush marks and would get a call back a few days later and have to go take care of it. Home exterior washing isn’t much fun when you are doing it all wrong.

I quit there and started with another house washing company that does things right. They rely on their cleaners to do the work and they use low pressure so no damage is done. The house take half the time now and look 10 times better. But best of all, no call backs and only happy customers.
